The Ellis County Equine Association (ECEA) is one of
the oldest non-profit equestrian organizations serving
the Ellis county Texas region.
To
learn more about ECEA memberships and our
Bylaws,
please visit our
About Us
section.
Memberships are
available at individual, family and corporate rates.
Monthly meetings are held at the Waxahachie Chamber of
Commerce on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.
The ECEA is dedicated
to the promotion of good horsemanship and sportsmanship
through education. It has been established to
promote interest in all breeds of horses and associated
riding disciplines. To this end we sponsor
scholarships,
clinics,
open horse
shows, and
trail
rides throughout the year. Our youth have a
separate organization called Ellis County Equine Youth
Association (ECEYA).
For event specific
information, use the links on the left side of the page
to go to the type of event you are interested in. ECEA club members enjoy
the benefits of discounted entry fees at club sponsored
events
and receive a monthly newsletter called
Hoof Prints.
